Artist Statement:
Three new concepts will be shown in this blog post. In the first batch of photos, there is a diagonal line that guides the audience to multiple points within the photograph. I tried to illustrate this idea by tilting my camera in order to create a diagonal line. In the second group of photos, there is a concept called the rule of thirds. This mainly consists of nine equal squares with two vertical and horizontal lines. The main object within the picture is focused in between one or more of the crosshairs. Again I demonstrated this idea by turning on the setting which allowed me to virtually place a grid on the camera. Then I focused on the main object and lined it up with the crosshair. In the final group of photos, there is the final concept of the triangle. This is where a variation of a triangle is represented as the main subject in the photo. I showed this by finding triangles and having them be in the center of the frame.
