This is the last week of photography class, and we are working on a new project. We are learning about a new technique that revolves around multi-frame storytelling. This is where a combination of two or more pictures tell a story. I had taken a look at previous projects for photography and gathered photos that were very interesting to me or caught my eye. I then began to edit these images and put them together to create a cohesive collection. All of my pictures below tell a different story even though they contain very similar edits. Every single combination of images creates a new and unique story. For example some of my stories relate to sadness, communication, life, nature, and danger.

In photography, each of us needed to study a photographer and replicate their work by using our surroundings and environment. I am focusing on and learning about Byron Jorjorian who is famous for his work in floral and botanical photography. Throughout this project, I believe that I have discovered and developed the skill of using macro photography to take up close pictures of flowers and creating a blurry background to isolate the flower. In this portfolio, I chose the best images that are accurate to Byron Jorjorian's work. This cohesive portfolio has a variety of flowers with tons of color in each picture to make each one unique. In my collection, there are natural backgrounds and no human-made objects. I still have a lot more to learn, but I am delighted and proud of the work that I had done.

This week in photography each of us created our fourth draft for this new project. I am focusing on and learning about Byron Jorjorian who is famous for his work in floral and botanical photography. Our goal was to replicate the authors work by using our environment. There were a variety of necessities that needed to be included in this project to create his recipe. First I needed to take pictures of a variety of flowers. Then I needed to use the right camera with the correct lens to take a photograph of the flowers. Then I had to square all the images and edit them. There is a lot of vibrant colors in each picture. As well there is a natural vibe since the background doesn't contain any man-made objects. This is my favorite draft because of the cohesive composition and variety of colors in each picture.

This week in photography each of us created our third draft for this new project. I am focusing on and learning about Byron Jorjorian who is famous for his work in floral and botanical photography. Our goal was to replicate the authors work by using our environment. There were a variety of necessities that needed to be included in this project to create his recipe. Then I had to square all the images and edit them. There is a lot of vibrant colors in each picture. As well there is a natural vibe since the background doesn't contain any man-made objects.  One challenge that I had was the software I was using to edit. This made it very difficult to actually change the exposure, temptation, and saturation of my photos. My goal for the next draft is to get crisper images and develop my skills when focusing on the subject of each picture.
